LACY LAKEVIEW - Lacy Lakeview police are looking for a man responsible for a bank robbery that took place Friday morning.

It happened at the Members Choice Federal Credit Union on South Lacy Dr. at around 10 a.m.

The suspect is a man, that police are hoping they can catch by releasing surveillance photographs to the public. The man was wearing dark clothing, black shoes and gloves, sunglasses, and a dark mask.

He displayed a handgun to a teller, demanded money, and left on foot southbound with an undisclosed amount of money in a black book bag. No one was physically harmed during the robbery.

"There were no injuries other than the emotional issues about being involved in an aggravated robbery and also the patrons that were there seeing something like that happens," said Lacy Lakeview Police Chief Dennis Stapleton. "Seeing something like that happen, it's very traumatic for them."

The police attempted to use a K-9 unit to track the suspect, but it was unsuccessful.

Anyone with information regarding the bank robbery is encouraged to contact Lacy Lakeview Police or Waco Crime Stoppers.
