WACO- A mother, her young daughter and her infant baby are dead after a mobile home fire in Bosqueville on Thursday night.  Firefighters were called to the 6300 block of North 19th Street about 6:30 p.m.

Waco Police say neighbors rescued a third child from the flames.  The two-year-old boy was flown to a burn center in Dallas and is now receiving treatment in the hospital.

Neighbor Bobby Cale saved the two-year-old when he ran through a door and into a side bedroom. The child was the only person he could find in the fiery room.

Cale's children's mother, Sara Chitty, watched Cale return with the boy in his arms. She says she heard the mother screaming, "Save me."

"I felt helpless. There was nothing I could do," Chitty said. "I wanted to go through the wall, but I couldn't."

Chitty says Cale is now feeling some guilt.

"He's having a hard time dealing with it," Chitty said. "He feels like he should have saved the other two. Like I told him, you saved one, and you did more than any of us all could do."

Cale went to the hospital for smoke inhalation but was released soon after.

Fire Chief Don Yeager told News Channel 25 three of his firefighters who were part of the initial "attack and rescue" crew were injured.   He said they were wearing protective gear, but the fire was so intense their gear was severely damaged and they had to be taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center. Yeager said they were treated and then released, but may miss some work time.

Waco Fire Department and the state fire marshal are investigating the cause of the fire. Waco Police Department is also investigating what they call "questionable deaths."
